As we’re preparing to step into the new year, we are thrilled to unveil the latest developments and modifications within the upcoming version of the Chainge Finance app. Below you will find a comprehensive overview of the changes and any actions required on your part at the end of year.
Permanent deactivation of the Futures & Options Features:
While this was a much debated decision, within the new version of the app, the Futures/Options modules will be removed. As of 2024, Chainge will no longer support time-framing to earn or any option-related functions. This includes writing, buying, or selling options, adding/removing options liquidity, cancelling options, or exercising options.
Transition of Matured Futures & Redeemable Options:
Upon the launch of the new version of the mobile app, at the end of the year, starting 00:00 am UTC, all matured futures will automatically convert into spot assets after users tap the conversion button on the prompted screen. Similarly, all redeemable options will be claimed by tapping the redeem button.
⚠️ Please remember to claim your unclaimed pools’ rewards by 00:00 am UTC as they will reset.
New ways to Earn
a) Holding assets on the Fusion chain
Starting from 2024, $BTC, $ETH, $USDT, $USDC and $DAI will accrue interest daily by being held on the Fusion chain. Users are not required to take any action as long as they hold these assets on Fusion.
APYs
- USDT, DAI, USDC APY: 8.12% — daily payout in USDT/DAI/USDC
- ETH APY: 5.2% — daily payout in ETH
- BTC APY: 4.1% — daily payout in BTC
⚠️ Minimum threshold: USDT>100; USDC>100; DAI>100; BTC>0.0025;ETH>0.05
b) SPOT Liquidity
While all liquidity pools do remain operational for users to add or withdraw assets at their convenience, the only liquidity pool that will generate interest is CHNG/USDT. Chainge will continue to reward the CHNG/USDT lp providers in CHNG tokens.
APY: 15% (bilateral) eg: 50USD worth of CHNG -> 15 U worth of CHNG/ year
