We will offer our $XCHNG token holders the opportunity to stake their tokens for fixed durations of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, or 4 years. In return for their staking commitment, participants will receive 80% of our company’s profits distributed quarterly. Additionally, stakers will be rewarded with voting tokens, known as vXCHNG, which grant them voting rights in the Chainge DAO.
Let’s Dive into an Illustrative Example:
As an XCHNG holder, you decide to stake your 10,000 XCHNG tokens for 6 months. Meanwhile, your fellow community member Bob opts for a longer-term commitment of 4 years with the same amount of tokens. Let’s assume you and Bob are the only two who stake you XCHNG. In this scenario, you would receive 10,000 vXCHNG, while Bob would be credited with 80,000 vXCHNG. If Chainge generates a quarterly profit of $9,000,000 you would receive $1,000,000 while Bob would earn $8,000,000.
Seamless Staking Experience:
We’re dedicated to providing a seamless staking experience for our users. Staking will be conveniently accessible through both our Chainge web app and mobile app interfaces. Once you stake your XCHNG tokens, you’ll immediately receive your corresponding vXCHNG tokens, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly process. vXCHNG tokens will not be transferrable
Fixed Staking Periods:
It’s important to note that the staking durations of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 4 years are fixed, and unstaking before the end date will not be possible. This structure is designed to encourage long-term commitment and stability within the Chainge ecosystem.
Implementation of the Chainge DAO:
The Chainge DAO will be established on snapshot.org, a leading platform for decentralized governance solutions. Anticipated to go live mid-end March, the Chainge DAO will empower $XCHNG token holders to actively participate in shaping the future direction of our products. Any proposal will have to secure at least 50% approval to pass.
