In contemplating the current landscape of cross-chain tech, a crucial question arises: why does ensuring the security of a cross-chain service often lead to the centralization of cross-chain oracle services? Paradoxically, this centralization becomes the most significant obstacle in creating a truly decentralized cross-chain solution.
Chainge’s cross-chain technology is deeply rooted in Fusion’s DCRM technology, integrating secure multi-party computation and threshold signatures. Through collaborations with esteemed cryptographers and exhaustive engineering endeavors, Chainge has made substantial progress in its commercial exploration, achieving a delicate balance among security, liquidity, and decentralization.
Now, we embark on a crucial plan — to establish a decentralized cross-chain protocol that is impervious to halting. We have a notable advantage in this endeavor. Firstly, our team possesses an in-depth understanding of the underlying infrastructure of all chains, with extensive experience in offline signatures, transaction construction across diverse chains, and smart contract deployment. Secondly, our involvement in cross-chain technology has reached its seventh year since late 2017, providing us with a wealth of parameters for harmonizing security, liquidity, and decentralization in cross-chain transactions.
Our ultimate goal in cross-chain endeavors is to craft a protocol that is immune to shutdown, based on smart contracts or on-chain memos. We have the capability to achieve this, and we are actively implementing it. This initiative is the driving force behind the migration of all apps, dApps, and even our partners’ cross-chain APIs to version 2.0. Once this objective is realized, users will seamlessly conduct cross-chain interactions with EVM-compatible or non-EVM-compatible chains, without depending on our dApps or apps, directly interacting with on-chain smart contracts or memos.
