Chainge is excited to announce the successful deployment of stablecoins and mainstream cryptocurrencies on Kaspa KRC20 — live on dapp.chainge.finance. Users can now bridge $USDT, $USDC, $ETH, $BTC, and $XCHNG to and from the Kaspa chain as wrapped assets in KRC20 format. The tickers for these assets are $CUSDT, $CUSDC, $CETH, $CBTC, and $XCHNG, respectively.

One-Click Kaspa Expansion

By deploying on the Kaspa KRC20 protocol, Chainge aims to increase onchain volume, strengthen the ecosystem, increase accessibility and encourage builders to develop on Kaspa. This new integration enables seamless transfers for stablecoins and mainstream tokens in and out of the Kaspa ecosystem with a single click, making it easier for users to interact with the growing Kaspa blockchain. Timing couldn’t be more right to bring more TVL into the Kaspa ecosystem, adding greater value to KRC20 tokens and encouraging further growth.

Applicability and use-cases

a) Bridge Flexibility: Users can bridge USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC and XCHNG to Kaspa KRC20 or bridge them out to any supported chain (35+ chains integrated including Solana and Tron) with full flexibility.

b) Conversion to/from $KAS: Users can swap any of these tokens for $KAS on the Kaspa native chain and vice-versa.

c) Cross-Chain Purchases: Stables and mainstream tokens on Kaspa KRC20 can also be used to buy any tokens on any available chain as Chainge is fully interoperable.

Bridging fee structure:

  • 0.06% for $USDT and $USDC
  • 0.1% for $BTC and $ETH
  • 0.2% for $XCHNG

Security & How It Works

Since KRC20 doesn’t yet support dynamic minting, Chainge has pre-minted the $CUSDT, $CUSDC, $CETH and $CBTC tokens. When a user bridges assets into the Kaspa ecosystem, the native assets remain locked in a vault secured by Distributed Control Rights Management (DCRM) technology. This ensures users can bridge in or out their assets at any time.

Chainge has been a trusted bridge infrastructure provider for over four years and more recently one of the most liquid cross-chain DEX aggregators on the market (with over $1Billion in cumulative trading volume) by leveraging and building on top of DCRM technology — developed in collaboration with world-renowned cryptographers such as: Rosario Gennaro, Professor of Computer Science at CUNY, Steven Goldfeder, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University, Louis Goubin, Professor of Computer Science at University of Versailles and Pascal Paillier, Ph.D., CEO and Senior Security Expert at CryptoExperts

The DCRM tech allows for secure multi-party computation and threshold signature schemes, ensuring that vault addresses holding assets across multiple chains remain highly secure. The private keys for these vaults are never generated; instead, DCRM nodes collaboratively generate public keys that allow transactions to be signed without revealing private keys. This robust infrastructure ensures the security of users’ assets during and after the bridging process.

Tickers

The deployed tokens tickers are $CUSDT, $CUSDC, $CBTC, and $CETH because they are wrapped versions issued by Chainge. The native $USDT and $USDC tickers are reserved, foreseeing Circle’s and Tether’s direct issuance. Once this becomes reality, all Chainge wrapped tokens will automatically convert to their native equivalents without any action required from users.

Strengthening Kaspa’s Network and Growing Volume

The introduction of KRC20 stable coins and mainstream tokens by Chainge is a significant milestone. By enabling users to bridge assets like $USDT and $BTC into Kaspa, the platform is poised to attract more liquidity, encourage development and expand its user base. This will drive further adoption of Kaspa as a key player in the blockchain space, backed by secure bridging technology and the support of Chainge’s growing ecosystem.

Chainge’s mission is to simplify access to decentralized finance, making it possible for users to interact with multiple chains effortlessly. With over 35 chains integrated into its dApp, Chainge offers users a broad range of options to trade & bridge assets and participate in the DeFi ecosystem.

What’s Next?

The deployment of KRC20 stablecoins and major cryptocurrencies opens up new possibilities for users, builders and investors. Chainge remains committed to enhancing the functionality of decentralized finance platforms while ensuring security and ease of use for all participants.

The Kaspa-KRC20 launch is just the start. More developments are on the way, including new KRC20 wallet additions and upcoming KRC20 DEX integrations, allowing users to buy or sell KRC20 tokens for any asset on any chain. While there’s currently no KRC20 DEX for us to aggregate liquidity from, Chainge is staying in close contact with Kaspa and Kasplex and will be the first to integrate once KRC20 DEXs are launched.

Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming live AMAs as Chainge, Kaspa and Kasplex work together to answer any and all questions about the future of Kaspa, KRC20 and this innovative integration.

Chainge’s Commitment to Innovation
Long before the “hype,” Chainge was the first bridge to integrate the Kaspa chain into its mobile app. At that time, bridging was only available for $KAS. This new launch further strengthens Chainge’s commitment to secure, scalable blockchain solutions.

Chainge’s success is built on the leadership and expertise of its board members:
